The acronym stands for Social Networks Analysis... I think the efforts many people are investing in the development of visualization tools and their integration within social networking servcices e.g. for assesing community facilitators could be a useful innovation approach for collaborative networked environments in the virtual enterprise.

In PROLEARN project, for instance, they are building a huge database with different resources (mailing lists, websites...) from a lot of education- or learning-oriented European projects, for applying such network visualization techniques and tools in, e.g. identifying trolls and/or spammers within the mailing lists.
