Since 2005 I've participated in the AMI collaboration. For a small SME with a big idea it's not easy, because of much smaller resources than the big ones have. Now after 2 years I know this is not just my problem: The most of us have missed the continuing contact to the essentials. And still we all easily could be present and available in everything that is important to us. I'm speaking about
1) different ways to participate in events
2) different ways to participate in the meeting space
The IST2006 in Helsinki opened an interactive net page for it's every physical workshop. They asked for comments, proposals, initiatives, reservations for one minute or so in the workshop etc. You didn't have to come to the meetingroom, your ideas were present. The same interactive page could be the summary after the session. And it could be open for everyone, as a search archive or/and place to put new impilses in. What we could learn from this /especially in our free of charge events) is:
- Possibility to participate virtually
- Possibility to make online presentations
- Possibility to participate in discussion (f.ex. by Skype)
- Possibility to followup an event
- Right and duty to participate in the interactivity (chat, blog, debate...) between events
We are communities, living labs, testbeds towards an interactivity-driven union (on professional and personal level). Let's not stop the nice speed which is given to us.
Our personal participating level (professional, personal, both) is in our own hands to choose.
Is Your presence here a flow? What do we really know about your resources and will in different situations?
To make something happen, say it, develop it, sell it!
Successful cooperation!
