I've been using Wikipedia. How can I incorporate my Wikipages to this environment? Can I creat new pages from this location? Can I use the Wikipedia page formating?

My Digital Villages page...Can I use my Wikipedia Content here? I look at this as a learning process. I'm testing and learning

Dear Helge,

I would like to kindly draw your attention to the above mentioned event to which you can register for free as it is sponsored by the COMIST project.

Imagination and Creativity

Lars Engman, Design Director at IKEA, was one of the speakers at the Design Management Institute’s two days seminar. He was offering a broad look at the evolution of the IKEA brand and discussed where the company finds new ideas.

Engman, from IKEA, was less concerned with branding strategy, instead emphasizing the importance of building creativity into the company. "Beautiful products are not all that difficult to develop," he says. "Producing them at an affordable price is what takes work."

Blogging and Collaborating

I believe the partnership on a European / Global scale is the most effective way to build the scale and a broad products and services portfolio necessary to compete globally and create value for clients.

* The combined effects of creative collaboration

The collaborative joint venture of United European bloggers can become an important step to strengthen our position in the market place and to enable us to offer the best state of the art solutions and services to our customers.

Error attempting one of the Collaboration@Work visualization examples

I tried this example:

Visualisation example 3 (http://www.ami-communities.net/bscw/wiki.cgi/572?op=mindmap) this is the hypergraph soft applied to the collaboration@work community folder. ...

The tool asked me to log-in, although I was already logged in and then I received the the following error message from BSCW:

Error: No access

You have insufficient access rights:
the given object "Collaboration@Work" does not allow the operation "Readers" for user hardisty.

Learning the Ami@Work and Frappr

I tested the Frapper Map:

* http://www.frappr.com/networkoflivinglabs

I'm learning the new AMI@Work communities’ website which is integrating

* shared workspace (BSCW),
* community wiki
* (MediaWiki) and blogging (Drupal)

These are the technologies used to make a single collaborative web platform.

I got into this place while I'd been encouraged to take a look at it at

Digital Villages is an evolutionary development that started from Wirby the Global Village 1998. We've a large dispersed group working with various Community and Small Businesses Development Tools.

Our national network is working with various development tasks. This platform could most probably be used to integrate our partners to a broader European wide Collaborative Community.

I find this new ami@work space very interesting and would like to know if ami@work could be used to import more people from our creative communities into this process.

Dynamic map of European Living Labs

I've used the online tool Frappr to create a map for the network of European Living Labs.

Not that the map is complete in any way, shape, or form. The idea is that any Living Lab site can add themselves to the map as they see fit, and can also use the map to give an overview of the type of Living Lab that they are.

I think it can be of some use in the future, as we will all be able to see the Living Labs around Europe at a quick glance, and not only that but individuals will have control to add themselves, change their profile and show their linkages to other Living Labs.

What is a Living Lab?

Currently, many people are looking for a good definition of "Living Lab"......in the context of systemic innovation as it has been described by Bror Salmelin, head of unit, New Working Environments unit at the European Commission.
One may search on Google and will get back 111.000 "living lab" references with a huge spectrum of different definitions....like species program, environmental testbed, usability testbed, applied research....and so on.
