Please follow the following guidelines when uploading a file:
- Include detailed information on the source of the file, eg. name of the site and exact URL of the original file. If you created it yourself, say so.
- Use license tags to indicate the license of the file: {{PD}} for public domain, {{cc-by-ami}} for CC Attribution 2.5 with the community as designated party, {{GFDL}} for GNU FDL, etc.
- Mention the author(s) of the file if this is required by the license.
- Add dates of: creation of the file/taking of the photo/creation of the depicted object (if applicable), etc.
- Give the file a descriptive destination file name: John Smith in Hague 2005.jpg is better than IMG3566.jpg.

To view or search previously uploaded images go to the list of uploaded files. Uploads and deletions are also logged in the upload log.
To include the image in a page, use a link like [[{{ns:6}}:file.jpg|alt text]], [[{{ns:6}}:file.png|thumb|alt and caption text]] or [[{{ns:-2}}:file.ogg]] for directly linking to the file.
