[edit] Objectives for workshop/community participation

- Structure a Project Proposal - Identify Winning Objectives: Business, Organization, Citizien. - Discuss very highlevel architecture and overview of adequate tecnologies Ami@work should take advantage of existing comunities to evaluate, endorse and create relevant socio-economic roadmaps that may lead European Economy to a Sustainable Growth to be shared by all its citizens. Furthermore, it can be used to strenghten a seamless European Region including the Political, Social and Economic Policies. Technology should be considered as a tool to achieve this vision and its development should aim at the achievement of Sustainable advantage to the European Software Research and Global Market.

[edit] Initial vision regarding what/how should the AMI@Work family help to create in Europe by 2010

The SEEM Community should address the global business environment aiming to a seamless integration from Large companies to SME’s and microcompanies and above all should be focused on the costumer, supporting his/her needs and feedbacks. Customer product co-design and mass customization of extended products should be fully supported. This requires new business models empowering the costumer/citizen and sustainable sharing of profits (distributed capitalism) supported by a distributed architecture ensuring the seamless integration of legacy systems and the advanced structuring and searching of knowledge. Technologies such as: GRID computing, semantic web, ontologies, smart tags, wireless services, etc are part of this scenario. In my view the EU has a window of opportunity to take some existing competitive advantages into a winning action plan to lead the World digital business knowledge society by 2010.
